The process of scheduling school visits to museums could be explored to enhance such collaboration. Research in this direction should investigate the scheduling of school visits in depth, including from an informational perspective. Based on 45 pieces of information identified in previous research, this study aimed to (1) assess the degree of importance that museum employees attribute to this information in scheduling school visits, and (2) identify relevant missing information. A descriptive quantitative study was carried out using an online questionnaire. With the opinion of 60 participants who work in museums in 15 Brazilian states, it was possible to identify 36 pieces of information considered important in the practice of scheduling school visits to museums. They address users, educational institution, position, scheduling and visit.
