Relatório técnico: cultivo de microalgas com biofixação de CO2 para produção de biofertilizantes. Orientador: Graco Aurelio Camara de Melo Viana. 2025. 25 f. Trabalho de conclusão de curso (Graduação em Engenharia de Aquicultura) – Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/61821At Samisa Farm, located in Extremoz/RN, during the mandatory internship for obtaining a bachelor's degree in aquaculture engineering, the main objective was to learn about microalgae cultivation and CO₂ consumption for biofertilizer production. The cultivation process begins in the strain bank, where strain maintenance was carried out to ensure culture growth. The microalgae were transferred to intermediate cultivation, using barrels (bottles) for this process. In the next stage, open cultivation photobioreactors with blowers were used, representing the third stage of the cultivation system. Finally, raceways with paddlewheels and CO₂ injection were employed. The processes of flocculation, decantation, and separation involved pump suction and, when necessary, the addition of flocculants. After decantation, the biomass was manually collected with the aid of a filtering cloth. The material underwent a second manual filtration to reduce moisture and was stored in bags for freezing. In the final phase, the biomass was dried in an oven (60°C) and prepared for chemical characterization, thereby consolidating technical and scientific learning in the field of biotechnology.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/MicroalgasRacewaysCultivoMicroalgaeRacewaysCultivationRelatório técnico: cultivo de microalgas com biofixação de CO2 para produção de biofertilizantesTechnical report: cultivation of microalgae with CO2 biofixation for biofertilizer productionbachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS
