Tektology proposes an integrative approach to the organization of complex systems. The study uses a qualitative, exploratory and inductive methodology which, based on a literature review, seeks to relate tektological principles to design methodology. The theoretical review covers works by Bogdanov and contemporary authors such as McKenzie Wark and Gabriel Tupinambá, as well as fundamental design references including Gui Bonsiepe, Alain Findeli and Caio Vassão. The main issues addressed include the applicability of Tektology as a critical and practical tool in design.
