In geotechnical engineering, in the last years, a manifestation of this demand occurred in the increase of the research and the use of mixed foundations: piled rafts and piled footings. In such cases, consideration of the block linking the piles to the load capacity of a foundation or the use of piles to reduce foundation settlements in certain situations may result in a significant improvement in foundation performance In the present work, it was realized the prediction of the behavior of the foundation of a building of two floors, denominated "Bloco de salas de aula", being the foundation formed by isolated footings and piled footings. For this, the draft data were obtained, such as dimensions and position of foundations, applied loads, besides the soil survey report that served as the basis for the project. After, soil parameters were obtained by correlations and the values of load capacity and settlements were obtained. For the piled footings, two situations were considered for academic purposes: with a more and less resistant embankment, respectively. In the first case, the results have led to low load capacities and high settlements.
