This is an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, where the data were collected from interviews, guided by a script with open questions in the Sanitary Districts of Natal / RN. Besides the interview, a questionnaire was applied with open and closed questions to characterize the managers profile. The data analysis was performed according to the content analysis technique, in the thematic modality, proposed by Minayo, 2013. The quantitative data were organized within Excel software, version 2010. The results highlight the inadequate work conditions that have relation with the physical structure of the districts' headquarters, as well as the presence of stressors at work, causing sickness in workers.
