Since a sexuality recognized by who as one of the pillars in quality of life (QL), it is possible to have a relationship between FS and QL. Objective: To analyze an influence of quality of life on the sexual function of pregnant women. Methods: The comparative, comparative, cross - sectional study was carried out in April 2013 and counted with 207 pregnant women living in. Sociodemographic, obstetric and sexual function data were evaluated. Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) and Ferrans and Powers of Quality Index of Life (QLI). Descriptive and inferential statistical data (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Mann-Whitney test and Binary Logistic Regression) were analyzed. Variables included in the presented model P <0.10. The significance level adopted for P <0.05. Results: The median age was 30 years. 53.6% of the pregnant women in higher education and 40.1% -presented family income above 4 minimum wages. It was observed that 35.7% of the volunteers had sexual dysfunction. The domain "desire", to make FSFI, had less value. Pregnant women without sexual dysfunction had a better quality of life (P = 0.040), related to socioeconomic (P = 0.001) and psychological and spiritual domains (P = 0.019). However, the logistic regression model indicated that only the socioeconomic domain influenced sexual dysfunction or not (Wald = 14.31 | P = 0.01 | OR = 1.76).
