In view of the day-to-day life of the modern society and the constant contact with the mobile technologies that provide an easy access to the internet, putting us in constant contact with several languages, this contact is not perceived, therefore, it has become part of the daily routine. Because of the importance of fluency in other languages, such as job opportunities, this paper shows the impacts when the information technologies are used as tools for foreign languages learning; analyzing three applications for the foreign languages learning, as well as the method of texts with audio that has been widely used, comparing the tools among themselves and the participants' learning outcomes with the traditional teaching; the results show that, with the proper use of IT, the language learning gradually becomes more efficient.
