Fandemia: uma análise sobre a potencialização da interatividade participativa do fandom da Saga Crepúsculo através da produção de AUs no Twitter durante a pandemia da Covid-19. 2021.144f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Jornalismo) - Departamento de Comunicação, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/38399The evolution of the new technologies, the advent of digital media and the consequent process of mediatization of society, contributed to the emergence of a new form of reception and consumption of media products. The audience, previously seen as merely passive individuals in the communication process, started to claim the new resources and tools of the modern era to act more actively in the cultural industry, through the interaction, expansion and creation of digital content. Media convergence resulted in the emergence of participatory culture among online communities and led to the manifestation of new practices of appropriation and engagement with media products, especially among fans – considered the most active media consumers. In 2020, however, with the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, which demanded radical changes in the daily habits of the entire world population, the virtual environment gained even more relevance to generate connections and strengthen social relationships amid a scenario of uncertainties, isolation and loneliness. In this context, this study seeks to understand how the practices of participation and involvement of fans were affected during the global crisis. For this, the Twilight Saga brazilian fandom and the AUs (Twitter fanfictions) created by them will be used to investigate how this group is organized and whether the practices of transmedia creative writing of fanfiction on the platform contributed to the enhancement of participatory culture in the community. The method applied will be netnography supported by participant observation of online practices and the elaboration of questionnaires for members of the fandom. The theoretical basis is composed by authors such as Henry Jenkins (2009; 2011; 2012; 2014), Yvana Fechine (2014), Claudia Bucciferro (2013), Michelle Groover (2013); Sarah Costa (2015), Cecília Lima and Gêsa Cavalcanti (2018), Márcio Padrão (2007), Gabriela Anjos (2020); among other authors who seek to understand the participation in the culture of fans, the phenomenon of fanfictions and also the relevance of the Twilight Saga for the communicational and media context.Cultura de Fãs.
