The research involves the analysis of documents and materials from the creation process, as well as the study of theories on creation in visual arts and the language of comics. The study seeks to contribute to the development of research on comic book creation, appreciate the work of Veríssimo de Melo and its cultural significance. It also aims to explore the language of comics as a means of facilitating access to the content of the book for comic book readers. In this regard, authors such as Eisner (1989), McCloud (1995), and Janson (2005) are consulted.
