In addition, it also problematizes what is put into operation when psychology encounters openair markets, gathering some effects of the knowledge-power mechanisms that have impacted open-air markets, cities and subjectivities. For that, a composition between Foucaultian archaeology and genealogy was undertaken, based on two movements: (I) a review of the production on open-air markets in human sciences and psychology, in order to map the discursivities that emerge about open-air markets and to follow the urban interventions that have historically been directed to open-air markets; (II) experimentation at Feira do Alecrim, in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, and at Feira do Produtor Rural, in Boa Vista, Roraima, with an ethnographic stage. The ramifications of the analyses occur in three axes: (I) imbrication and interdependence between open-air markets and cities, mainly in the practices of Brazilian colonization; (II) perpetuation of precariousness condition, based on the concept of Judith Butler, and the violations of the lives of those who make and live at Brazilian open-air markets: women, workers, childhoods, xenophobia and racism; and (III) open-air markets as practices of resistance and invention of life, considering their sociability, sustainability and confrontation of neoliberalism and indifference to the world. Finally, in what is discussed about Brazilian open-air markets and adhering to an institutionalist perspective, their relevance and pertinence in contemporary cities are highlighted, in addition to divert the present of psychology.Acesso AbertoFeiras livresCidadeArqueogenealogiaPsicologiaPensando a psicologia por feiras livres brasileirasdoctoralThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIA
