Thus, the present monographic work aims to analyze the participation of the family with the school community in the learning process of the students, in the Initial Series of Elementary School of a municipal school, located in the city of Parelhas-RN. Methodologically, the research consisted of observation in locus, bibliographical research with theoretical support in authors such as Durkheim (1978), Libâneo (2004), Prado (1988), Santos (2008), Scoz (1994), Tiba (2007), among others. Documentary research, photographic record, and interview with parents and management team of the institution were also used.
