In some of these places long waiting times can damage human health, which is what is happening in hospitals and medical clinics. Specifically observing the management of these queues in nursing homes one can see how inefficiently they are handled, with the biggest problem being the lack of ability to direct the patient to the ideal location. The work in this thesis proposes a solution to this problem through a collaborative web application in which users will be able to view an estimated number of people in certain health care queues and also check-in to their appointments. The platform will be fed by the users themselves through check-ins, comments, and checkouts. Using this data, patients will be able to determine the most appropriate place for their needs and their available time.
