Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Ciências Contábeis) - Departamento de Ciências Exatas e Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Caicó, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63301The work in question seeks, through a quantitative and qualitative analysis, expose the economic viability of cattle farming in the Seridó region of Rio Grande do Norte and how it can be raised, since such activity is of utmost local importance due to the national recognition of the meat and cheese produced, these being direct products of cattle farming and in what ways this economic activity can be adapted to make the socioeconomic relationship of those involved excellent, studying existing concepts and others with possible adherence and after applying a socioeconomic questionnaire, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats were highlighted, the need to prioritize efficient nutrition, measurement and technical adjustments, strategic marketing planning by combining the existing structure and experience are the appropriate paths for the activity. After observing the local reality, it was possible to prove the existence of a perception present in local cattle farmers, regarding attention to nutrition and the type of animal, which may be a consequence of a market selection where those who were not adapting left cattle farming, but the lack of more expressive government support and institutions that could develop more efficiency in the sector was evident.
