Esports or electronic sports are video game competitions that end up bringing countless people to this leisure model, as well as other traditional sports competitions, these events need spaces to be held, and it is in these spaces where structures are set up to receive different groups of people, some to compete others to watch the attractions of the event. Along with people, different cultures and interactions come to occur in space, with the geographic study of this phenomenon, it is possible to interpret the formation of these new flows that have been forming in the city of Natal. Since 2016, Natal has hosted what is today the largest esports league in the Northeast, Digicom.
