These writings emerge from a feminine, backcountry, restless and exploratory body, which transforms into art through the experiences and inspirations of the Sertão do Seridó Potiguar, a region located in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). This research is motivated by the desire to share autobiographical feelings, reflecting on the experiences of my body as an artist and educator, inspired by the knowledge of other country women from Seridó. By delving into the crafts of the Homoseridoense body-territory, I also intend to question and subvert the colonial narratives that historically tried to silence the voices and existences of the countryside. Based on the methodology of Poetic Construction (MACHADO, 2017) and counter-colonial practices (SANTOS, 2019), my objective is to contribute with creations that value the sertaneja culture of Serido, placing them at the focus of artistic, environmental and educational discussions. Art, in this context, becomes not only a means of expression, but also an act of resistance and claiming identities. I therefore seek to radiate the knowledge and traditions of my community, especially to students who, like me, migrated from the interior to the capital in search of better opportunities.
