Projeto de miniusina solar fotovoltaica para o Centro de Intendência da Marinha em Natal (CeIMNa). 2018. 149f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Energia Elétrica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/25855The present project was elaborated for generation of electrical energy through the use of the solar source. Due to the growing energy demand of military institutions and the need for energy consumption models that require less financial resources, the work proposes a reduction of electric energy costs through the installation of a solar photovoltaic mini-plant connected to the local utility grid. A photovoltaic solar generation system is designed for the self-consumption of a pilot unit, composed of an arrangement of photovoltaic panels in which it will be possible to identify the profile of the load curve of the unit under study. In order to do so, the Intendance Center of the Navy in Natal (CeIMNa) was chosen, due to the physical space available in the territory of the Naval Base of Natal (BNN) and the favorable characteristics of sun and absence of shadows in its physical structure. The premise considered is the energy self-sufficiency of the building using the data of solar radiation, load curve, and specifications of photovoltaic panels and inverters, with the use of the PVSOL software, a combination of equipment to meet the demand of CeIMNa. The work follows the guidelines of the CON ENERGIA project of the Brazilian Navy, which is structured in three pillars: Free Market, Energy Efficiency and Distributed Generation. This system has several advantages, among them the use of solar energy, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the reduction in the value of the electric energy bill and the electric losses with the transmission, due to the generation being close to consumption. The proposed system is designed to compensate for all the power consumption of the pilot unit with installed power of 165 kWp. The project was budgeted at R$ 1,023,426.57, and the results of the analysis revealed that the use of photovoltaic solar energy as an alternative to reduce energy costs and energy diversification is feasible for the period analyzed, considering the projected data . The cash flow balance of the project is very attractive, since it returns the amount of R$ 2.778,097.05 at the end of the investment. The NPV (net present value) of the projected cash flow was positive, which encourages investors' interest in other similar projects. In addition, the calculated internal rate of return (IRR) of 9.4% exceeded the minimum attractiveness rate (TMA), which represents the minimum an investor proposes to earn when making an investment. Also, the calculated payback is within the expected for group A clients, characterized by the binomial rate structure, that is, the cash flow begins to return positive values from 12.7 years after the start of the project. The basic components of the generation system, standards and work methodology are detailed. The project consists of a calculation memorial, panels of the panels and economic feasibility analysis, to be registered in the Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of the RN (CREA-RN) as an academic work.
