This is a qualitative, descriptive and literature review study, which investigates the impacts of sustainable practices on corporate governance and attractiveness to investors. Academic articles, sustainability reports and data from the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE B3) were analyzed. The results indicate that the adoption of ESG policies strengthens transparency, drives innovation and improves relationships with stakeholders. In 2023, Engie Brasil achieved progress in the ESG dimensions, consolidating itself as a reference in sustainability.
