Formação humanista no Curso de Farmácia da UFRN: a percepção dos docentes e concluintes. 2018. 136f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Ensino na Saúde) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2018.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/26732The National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs) that guide Pharmacy Undergraduate Courses establish critical, reflective, humanistic and generalist training. The Pharmacy Course of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) implemented its current Political Pedagogical Project (PPC) based on these guidelines and, since its implementation in 2002, approximately 950 pharmacists were trained. Despite these changes, some worrying characteristics such as extreme technicality and limited critical and humanistic formation persist in this formative process. In this context, this research had as main objective to analyze the pharmaceutical formation, from the humanistic perspective, in the perception of the active and conclusive teachers, in the Pharmacy Course of the Institution of Higher Education mentioned above. It was, therefore, a descriptive research of the type of case study with a qualitative approach. As far as the data of the research were obtained, a focal group was carried out through a semi-structured script. The subjects of the research were composed by 08 professors and 08 graduates of the course. The result of this analysis offers as a product subsidies for discussions and reflections during the construction of the new Pedagogical Project of the UFRN Pharmacy course, which is under review, and will also guide the modifications necessary for the humanistic formation foreseen in the current DCNs, published through of Resolution No. 6 of October 19, 2017. It was concluded that it is necessary to plan a PPC that contemplates an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary formation, with learning teaching strategies directed to an integrated, critical, reflective and humanistic formation, with a general training that counteracts specialist training and a competency-based training model. The weaknesses in the teachinglearning process regarding the humanistic contents and the feeling of unpreparedness of the graduates to assume their professional assignments, as recommended by the DCNs, were pointed out, pointing to the need for reflection on the formal inclusion of contents related to humanistic formation in the Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy at UFRN.Acesso AbertoEnsinoDCNFormação humanistaGrupo focalFormação humanista no Curso de Farmácia da UFRN: a percepção dos docentes e concluintesmasterThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE: ENSINO NA SAÚDE
