The objective of this study is to analyze the co-authorship relationships existing in the productions of the permanent professors of the department and that are indexed in Brapci. And to achieve this objective, the following specific objectives were established: to identify the permanent faculty that integrates DECIN/UFRN in the year 2022; quantify the scientific articles indexed in Brapci, produced in the last 10 years, starting in 2012, adding the year 2022 by the permanent faculty active in 2022; define the number of existing co-authorships in scientific articles retrieved at Brapci produced by the permanent faculty; graphically represent the co-authorship relationships from the articles produced by the faculty; and classify the existing academic relationships in the productions co-authored by professors. Methodologically, this study presents bibliographical research, it also presents as a case study, regarding the approach and it is quantitative research, in addition to having exploratory and descriptive objectives and being considered research of an applied nature. It was identified that 16 (sixteen) professors are active in the current year, being 12 (twelve) permanent and will be the research object of this study. Data collection was done through the Referential Database of Journal Articles in Information Science and the study analyzed 192 articles, in the period between 2012 and 2022, in which it was possible to obtain the results of productions co-authored by the professors, presented if in a table the ranking of publications and professors Fernando Luiz Vechiato and Nancy Sanchez Tarragó stand out, in another table the ranking with the numbers of productions in co-authorship is presented and professors Fernando Luiz Vechiato and Andrea Vasconcelos Carvalho stand out , the relationships created by the professors are presented in a table, identifying whether they published with students, professors, advisees, supervisors and researchers.
