For this purpose, we seek to establish the relationship among History, Literature, and Heritage, considering the different narratives and historical evidence found in three places chosen in the city for this study, and which are both part of Caminha‘s work and part of the daily lives of the students at the School, such as the Passeio Público, the Ferreira Square, and the Iracema Beach. Based on the knowledge and study of such places, and through the workshop-class methodology proposed by Isabel Barca, we seek to demonstrate a possible path for both the appreciation of the cultural heritage of the capital of Ceará and the appreciation of the students‘ background, by helping them to understand the historicity of urban spaces in Fortaleza, in order to identify the potentialities of their historical and school knowledge.
