Preciado conceives the dildo as an object of critique of sexual difference. In this way, the research takes the work “Countersexual Manifesto”, first published in Spain in 2000, as the main source, upon which we will base our study. The critique of sexual difference is part of an issue within feminist theory and science as a whole, which considers human bodies divided into two categories, where gender and sexuality are merely cultural interpretations of sex, which is seen as fixed and immutable. However, with the dildo, Preciado argues that this small object allows one to turn inward upon the body and multiply the organic center of pleasure, to the point where the idea of a single center no longer makes sense.
