A informatização do processo de estágio probatório à luz da gestão da informação e da gestão de processos: estudo de caso na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. Orientador: Dr. Daniel de Araújo Martins. 2025. 186f. Dissertação (Mestrado Profissional em Gestão da Informação e do Conhecimento) - Centro de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/63818Considering the importance of implementing continuous improvements in the management and execution of its institutional processes, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte uses technology systematically through the Integrated Management and Services Systems available at the institution. Within this scenario, the Probationary Internship process, which is fundamental to the professional career of the institution's civil servants, has not yet been computerized. Currently, data and information on this process is recorded and controlled practically manually, which is reflected in the large number of sub-processes involved in carrying it out. Given this context, and assuming the need for computerization, this dissertation aimed to define the functionalities necessary for the development of a computerized module to support the management of the Probationary Internship process, with a view to proposing it. Specifically: a) To understand the guidelines, conditions and restrictions that regulate the probationary period; b) To map the flow of activities and the flow of information in the probationary period process; c) To identify the information needs of the players involved in the probationary period process; d) To model the functionalities of the probationary period module in the Integrated Human Resources Management System. To achieve these objectives, a qualitative, descriptive, prescriptive and applied study was carried out, based on information management and process management in an institutional process, based on a case study. As for the instruments used to collect the data, documentary research was carried out, interviews were conducted with the players in the process and a focus group was held for validation purposes. Bardin's (2016) content analysis technique was used to analyze the data, adapted to analyze the different sets of data generated by each collection strategy. Finally, the results of this study provided a better understanding of this process, identifying difficulties and possibilities for improvement, as well as corroborating the need to computerize it using a module to manage it. As a way of helping to improve the management of the process of monitoring, analyzing and approving the Probationary Internship of civil servants at the institution in question, and as a final product of the professional master's degree in Information Science, a list of 13 functionalities was drawn up, in line with the premises of information management and process management, which could make up the aforementioned computerized module. These functionalities were developed, detailed and structured in accordance with the development policies defined by the systems present at the institution. The results obtained could support the implementation of a future computerized Probationary Internship module by this institution, as well as serving as a basis for other federal agencies interested in developing a system to support the management of this important process, taking into account the particularities of each agency.pt-BRAcesso AbertoFluxos de informaçãoMapeamento de processoRequisitos de sistemaInstituições federais de ensino superiorEstágio probatórioA informatização do processo de estágio probatório à luz da gestão da informação e da gestão de processos: estudo de caso na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do NortemasterThesisCIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS
