Thus, this article aimed to analyze, through a systematic bibliographic review, how inventory management methods, tools, and techniques have been applied in different organizational environments, especially between 2019 and 2024. Among the eight selected works,a predominance of qualitative analyses and a concentration of studies applied to the public sector, especially in hospitals and universities, were observed. Methodologies such as case study, action research, and multicriteria approach (MCDA) stand out. The most widely used tools include classic techniques, such as the ABC Curve and the PDCA Cycle, as well as more modern approaches, such as Business Intelligence(BI) and Business Process Management (BPM). The studies presented significant contributions, such as process standardization, waste reduction, and system automation. However, gaps were identified in the work, such as geographical limitations, the absence of cost-benefit analyses and the scarcity of medium andlong-term assessments.
