The descriptive, retrospective, and quantitative research was conducted through descriptive statistical analysis of 206 retained prescriptions from January 2024. Results showed that 72% of the prescriptions were for women, with antidepressants (42.7%) and benzodiazepines (15.5%) being the predominant classes. It was identified that 75% of the prescriptions originated from the private sector, with psychiatrists responsible for 38.5% of the prescriptions.
