In this case, Brazil emerges as an object of study and contextualization given that its public policy of sanitation has more than a decade and the country still faces a distance from de universalization of sanitation services. Therefore, the aim of this study was evaluate, in the Brazilian public policy of sanitation as so as in the demographic concept of this country, which aspects in public policy of sanitation are reflecting in the consolidation of sanitation services along all country. The results show that the principal component analysis used as methodology could be an usefull method to evaluate public policies and its reflects in engineering. The results also show that each Brazilian region have specific characteristics related to the implementation of the sanitation policy and its reflects. However, with the exception of southeastern region, all others regions have a direct relation between regulation services of sanitation and the consolidation of sewarage system. Conclusions also show that representative politicians are, in some cases, more important than legal aspects to make happen the infrastructure of sanitation.
