Although it is a benign condition, it has a significant negative impact on the self-esteem and quality of life of pregnant women. Objective: To analyze, through an integrative literature review, the main approaches of dermato-functional physiotherapy in the management of gestational melasma, considering the physiological, therapeutic, and psychosocial aspects involved. Methodology: The literature search was conducted in the PubMed®, BVS, SciELO, and CAPES Journal Portal databases, using the descriptors “Melasma,” “Pregnancy,” “Esthetics,” and “Physiotherapy.” Studies published between 2015 and 2025, in Portuguese and English, that addressed the proposed topic were included. Results: The search yielded 763 studies, of which 554 were excluded for not meeting the eligibility criteria, resulting in 209 articles assessed based on title, abstract, and full text. In the end, 22 studies comprised the final sample. Conclusion: Dermato-functional physiotherapy presents a promising complementary strategy for the care of gestational melasma, provided it is based on scientific evidence and adapted to the particularities of pregnancy.
