More than just seeking the efficacy of such actions, public value theory wants to measure the impact of public policies on the population. Thus, performance indicators are proposed for an Academic Center of a Brazilian federal public university based on the Public Value Scorecard, a tool created by Professor Mark Moore in 2003 that aims to measure the public value that organizations deliver to society. For this purpose, a documentary research was carried out in the institutional records of the research locus to map the values that are important to the analyzed entity, in addition to a survey with the top management, to assess how management prioritizes such variables.
