Its main objective is to analyze the possibilities and educational strategies based on the principles of Human Rights Education that can be implemented in the school environment, aiming to prevent, confront, and mitigate the phenomena of violence, while promoting a culture of peace and ensuring the rights of children and adolescents. The research adopts a qualitative approach, focusing on a deep understanding of educational and institutional strategies aimed at addressing school violence, as well as documentary and bibliographic research, supported by the theoretical contributions of Candau (2008), Charlot (2002), Abramovay (2003, 2021), Libâneo (2004), Lück (2008), among others. In addition, key legal frameworks and curricular documents are considered, such as the 1988 Federal Constitution, the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, the National Curriculum Guidelines for Basic Education, the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), among others.
