Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo) – Departamento de Arquitetura, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/65084Currently, the art market still faces challenges regarding equality in the appreciation of works created by women. Historically, this group has been silenced or forgotten, resulting in a significant gap in the recognition of these artists. With the rise of gender- -related discussions and the strengthening of social movements, these voices have begun to occupy new spaces in society, gaining increasing value and reCognition across various fields. In Natal/RN, this situation is no different. Despite the city’s rich cultural life, female protagonism in the arts still struggles with a lack of visibility, access to opportunities, and recognition. In this context, initiatives supported by SEBRAE (Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service) have aimed to promote female entrepreneurship, including within the realm of artistic expression.Given this reality, the present work aims to develop an architectural project for a Cultural Center that promotes female representation in the arts, providing support, visibility, and appreciation of women's artistic productions. The specific objectives include: (1) Understanding how the dynamics of a cultural center can be directed towards the development of artistic expressions by women; (2) Investigating how gender-sensitive architecture can be applied to a female-centered space; and (3) Analyzing the local dynamics of different forms of female artistic expression. As a result, the project, located in the Tirol neighborhood of Natal/RN, proposes a set of volumes that adapt to the existing levels of the terrain, interconnected by courtyards and transitional spaces that encourage collective use and permanence. The proposal also aims to integrate the building into the urban fabric in an accessible way, creating a dynamic environment that meets the needs of the city’s women artistspt-BRAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Projeto ArquitetônicoCentro CulturalMulheres na ArteArquitetura de gêneroEspaço Urbano.Delas: centro cultural para mulheres artistasbachelorThesisCIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::ARQUITETURA E URBANISMO
