Based on the obstacles related to monitoring after treatment of the infection, it is important to highlight that monitoring the case is essential for continuity of care. Objective: Develop a tool to strengthen syphilis post-treatment follow-up in Primary Health Care. Method: This is a study that used theoretical and field research data to develop a syphilis monitoring tool in primary health care . The present study was carried out in three phases: 1) Theoretical Phase; 2) Field Phase; 3) Analytical phase for building the tool. Results: In phase 1, 20 studies were analyzed, of which 7 highlight educational interventions as central methodology tools for post-treatment follow-up of syphilis. In phase 2, interviews were carried out with Primary Health Care professionals. In phase 3, development of a training course proposal to strengthen post-treatment follow-up for syphilis in Primary Health Care.
