Methodologically research was developed based on bibliographical productions about the novelist, black and their representations in Potiguar literature. Considering their historical and social contexts, the traced route allows us to observe if the stigma of negativity or black invisibility, common in Brazilian literature, they are refuted or confirmed by the author. Finally, it proposes a didactic sequence for reading and discussion of the oeuvre in the classroom.openAccessAn error occurred getting the license - uri.RomancePotiguarMadalena AntunesSala de AulaRepresentações negras em Oiteiro de Madalena AntunespostGraduateThesisHistória
