It establishes and defines the affective importance in the process of development of the children from the Walonian theory, emphasizing the valorization of the emotions as being as important as the cognitive aspect for the learning of the subject. This research started from the need to better understand how the emotional factor interferes in the teaching-learning process and how it is treated in the day-to-day teaching practice of day-care centers. We well know that the subject is extremely subjective, which does not exhaust the reflections on the subject in this valuable work, much has been known and learned about the relevance of affectivity for the integral development of the human person. From the readings made, I was able to conclude that it is necessary for the teachers of Infantile Education to broaden their knowledge about affectivity, to know the emotional states and their manifestations in the context of the classroom, in order to favor positively the social, cognitive and affective development of the small children .
