This study aims to highlight the nurse's role as an educator, through an experience report of an intervention carried out in a clinical ward of a private hospital in the city of Natal-RN, focusing on nursing practices related to peripheral venous catheters (PVC). The action was divided into a theoretical part to resemble previous knowledge and a practical one.
