The general objective was to apply a summer course to determine if there is a noticeable difference between the knowledge prior to the course and the learning after the five-week period at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. It covered the teaching of the four swimming strokes, supported by the literature of Marcelo Massaud and Célia Corrêa. Additionally, first aid in the pool and pre, intra, and postworkout nutrition were taught. As an evaluation tool, Google Forms was used, organized as a Likert scale, allowing for both objective and subjective responses.
