The reference goes through several layers, from the anthropocentric issue, fallacies of capitalism, issues of an environmental education with little dialog in the initial training of physical education teachers and, consequently, in school physical education, as well as a search in Critical Physical Education, in an attempt to find approximations with the complexity of the human animal in the (natural) world. These implications led to questions about the human animal's relationship with itself, with others and with the (natural) world. In order to understand these implications, we carried out qualitative exploratory and (auto)biographical research. As a methodology, we chose to use (auto)biographical narratives made by the teacher-researcher herself, analyzing intrinsic questions about her relationships with herself, with others and with the (natural) world in the personal, academic and professional contexts. Two narratives were carried out, the first with the aim of retrieving the author's knowledge about the complexity of the human animal in the (natural) world, associating them with the contexts. And the second was made to tell us about the relationships and contexts that were not covered in the first narrative. As a way of visualizing the main elements that made up the writing, a tree of Critical Environmental Physical Education knowledge was constructed, with these elements being the branches of this great tree. Finally, this dissertation presents the construction of ecological knowledge, which has several limitations.
