Proposta de um modelo para implantação de sistemas híbridos de geração distribuída eólico-fotovoltaicos. 2016. 208f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Engenharia de Produção) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2016.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/23034Electrical energy has become an important component, over the centuries, to the human development, resulting in its dependence in the daily activities of society, companies, industries and organizations. The increase in demand and consumption has raised hypotheses of future depletion of traditional sources of energy. Thus, academic studies on renewable energy sources gained interest as many countries began to invest in this sector, especially with regard to so-called new renewable energy sources, among them wind and solar. Therefore, the aim of this work is focused on the development of a model for implementation of wind-photovoltaic hybrid systems of distributed generation, in order to bring together in a structured representation, the context, the dynamics and the process which may result in the implementation of these systems with intent to serve as a basis for its replication in any organizations. To achieve this aim, it is adopted a method based on the Mitroff (1974), which can be characterized primarily as a descriptive and quantitative and which involves two steps. The first comprises three sub steps, the systematic literature review in database of articles, dissertations and theses; data collection in consultancies, public institutions and the electrical energy distributor; and development of the conceptual/theoretical model. The second step, in its turn, is made up of four sub steps: characterization of the case study; proposition of a hybrid system to a particular case; the modeling and simulation data through the HOMER software; and the analysis of these data. The results of this research were: the identification of the brazilian and world scenario's about technologies, advantages and disadvantages of eolic and photovoltaic energy; the interpretation of the normative resolution 482/2012 of ANEEL; the exemplification of the use of HOMER software; and the improvement of the conceptual model as from its application in the case study, by finding limitations to research and new variables. The final model obtained which consists of seven steps needs these input information: the location of system installation; data of consumption and demand of electricity; the tariffs charged by the distribution concessionaire; solar irradiance and wind velocity data; and the costs and specifications of power generation equipments. The output of the model is the answer regarding the feasibility of implementing the proposed hybrid system.
