The Central Unit of Therapeutic Agents is a practical setting for the mandatory internships of academics in the pharmacy course at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, which allows multiple experiences in the training process of these students in relation to Pharmaceutical Assistance, it is an institution linked to the State Secretariat of Public Health of Rio Grande do Norte, with the objective of meeting the ministerial demand regarding medicines from the Specialized Component of Pharmaceutical Assistance (CEAF), the Strategic Component of Pharmaceutical Assistance (CESAF), hospital logistics for the supply of medicines, health products and enteral and parenteral nutrition to hospitals in the state network and legal demands. Given the above, since this is a service with several sectors, enabling multiple experiences in the training process of these students in relation to Pharmaceutical Assistance, which includes numerous skills to be developed and a great challenge for preceptor professionals in evaluating the teaching-learning process in service for the acquisition of competencies for Pharmaceutical Assistance, a competency assessment instrument was constructed for practical scenarios. Objective: to instrumentalize and align the experience with the evaluation process in the various practical scenarios of UNICAT, through competency assessment, contributing to the training process of students. Method: The development of this evaluation methodology was carried out in 4 stages: 1) Situational diagnosis; 2) Construction of the competency matrix of the activities carried out in each practical scenario; 3) Construction of the competency-based assessment instrument; 4) Presentation of the instrument to the Center for Permanent Education and preceptors. The study involved the NEP/UNICAT, the coordination, professors of the Pharmacy course/UFRN and pharmaceutical preceptors of UNICAT. Conclusion: The product obtained proposes an assessment process based on knowledge, skills and attitudes, which was designed by analyzing and cross-referencing documents provided by the sectors involved in this field of practice. The preceptors were sensitized to discuss a new format and then apply the assessment instrument. The instrument proved to be viable and low-cost. The study complied with the bioethical principles recommended for research with human beings by Resolution No. 466/2012 of the National Health Council.pt-BRAcesso AbertoAssistência farmacêuticaEstudantes de farmáciaAvaliação do ensinoEducação baseada em competênciasEnsinoInstrumento de avaliação para o ensino de assistência farmacêutica na graduaçãomasterThesisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE
