The communities of remaining quilombolas appear as examples of these groups that are still fighting today in defense of their territories, ways of life, customs, and culture. The quilombola community of Moita Verde, which is the focus of this study, is one of many in the state and in the country that still face problems ranging from economic activities, infrastructure, and land recognition. The present work deals with the development of an architectural project for a Community Center focused on conviviality, education and culture, as well as on the efficiency of the construction process. To this end, through documentary research and community understanding, it aims to show how architecture has the potential to promote socio-spatial transformations, especially in places of social vulnerability. Added to this, it also aims to understand the main needs of the community and demands that can be helped by an equipment of this type. It also seeks to apply the main advantages offered by design guidelines linked to the concept of constructive rationalization, with the intention of obtaining a more efficient and durable project, with low maintenance needs and reduced consumption of material, energy and time resources. In this way, the main motivation arises as a city dweller, to be able to develop a proposal of quality and efficiency that can contribute to the diverse needs of the community.
