TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Fisioterapia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Santa Cruz, 2016.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/34024The objective of the study was to estimate fatigue in Parkinson's disease (PD) and to correlate with demographic characteristics, fear of falls, sleep, stage of the disease, motor function and activities of daily living. This is a cross-sectional study, carried out at the Physiotherapy outpatient integrated clinic of the FACISA/ UFRN. The following measuring instruments were used: Modified Hoehn and Yahr Scale, Parkinson’ s Fatigue Scale (PFS-16), subscale II and III of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS), Sleep Scale for PD (PDSS. The sample was formed by convenience and composed of 10 patients with DP, which 80% indicated fatigue as a problem. However, no significant correlations were found between PFS-16 and any of the variables.
