The treatments consisted of the combination of five levels of salinity (0.5, 1.5, 3.0, 4.5 and, 6.0 dS m-1), and four levels of nitrogen (0, 0.8, 1.6 and 2.3 g pot-1), using a randomized block design with four replications. Evaluated the production components Leaf area, fresh weight and, dry mass weight of leaves.Significant effect for the interaction of salinity and N levels for all production components and crude protein so that was raised as the salinity level production was reduced, but to the level of salinity 3.0 dS m-1 N rates allowed for a smaller reduction ratio. It was also found that irrigation with high salt inhibited the beneficial effect of nitrogen on the growth of grass tanzaniaAdubação nitrogenadaEstresse salinoPanicum maximumFertilization,Salt stressInteração salinidade e nitrogênio sobre os componentes de produção do capim tanzâniaInteraction salinity and nitrogen on yield components of tanzânia grassarticle10.7127/rbai.v9n400330
