Through a practical guide, it is possible to minimize rework in the construction process, frequently originated from operations planning flaws and/or the misalignment of the various stages of the process, which consequently raises the construction costs. The Checklist was built upon observations during fieldwork in construction sites located in Parnamirim/RN – Brazil, facing the constant need to improve employees’ work routines and avoid the repetition of stages frequently considered concluded. The initial necessities for each installation were analyzed, and a list of precedent actions for the execution compiled for each activity for each job. As intended result, the execution process should be cleaner and the number of unforeseen events and incomplete tasks would be downsized.
