Jornalismo científico em crises de saúde pública: análise do caso do RegulaRN durante a pandemia de COVID-19. 2025. 104 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Jornalismo) - Departamento de Comunicação Social, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2025.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/62154This study investigates the role of scientific journalism during public health crises, using as its object of study the news articles produced about the RegulaRN platform by the communication team of the Laboratory of Technological Innovation in Health (LAIS/UFRN) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research focuses on analyzing news pieces that address the platform and seeks to understand how scientific journalism criteria were applied in the construction of informative narratives within a context marked by infodemic challenges and the urgency for clear and reliable information. To achieve this, a qualitative and documentary analysis was conducted, based on the criteria proposed by Bertolli Filho (2006) and Fioravanti (2013), supported by interviews with journalists involved in producing the news content. The investigation explores the relationship between journalism, science, and society, highlighting the potential of scientific journalism as a tool for mediation and strategic communication in crisis scenarios. The study also reflects on the significance of RegulaRN as an example of technological innovation in public health and emphasizes the importance of editorial strategies aimed at accessibility and understanding of information. This work seeks to contribute to the debate on the challenges and possibilities of scientific journalism as an essential element in democratizing scientific knowledge and strengthening public health policies.Jornalismo científicoComunicação científicaDivulgação científicaJornalismo em saúdeJornalismo científico em crises de saúde pública: análise do caso do RegulaRN durante a pandemia de COVID-19bachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAOCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAO::JORNALISMO E EDITORACAO::JORNALISMO ESPECIALIZADO (COMUNITARIO, RURAL, EMPRESARIAL, CIENTIFICO)
