In general, this monograph will aim not only to study the relevance of ludicity in educational games, but also of ludicity in education as a whole. In other words: how can the ludic contribute for an area so deficient in our society as the current Brazilian educational system. Grinspun (1999), when talking about the use of technological devices to educate, says that: “technology is the scientific knowledge transformed in technique which, by its turn, will broaden the possibilities of production of new knowledge”. In this line of reasoning, three educational games will be analyzed deductively through the seven principles for projecting efficient educational games, elaborated by Costa (2010), to identify if they respect these principles.
