The research was conducted with the purpose of understanding the perception of managers in a private school regarding telecommuting in the post-pandemic period. It was an applied and descriptive research, a case study of a qualitative nature, carried out with three managers, two of whom already had some experience with telecommuting. An interview with an average duration of twenty minutes was conducted with each manager. From interviews with managers, the challenges faced and the strategies employed to maintain the continuity of education were analyzed. In addition to reporting practical experiences, the work offers a comprehensive theoretical perspective, examining the impacts of the pandemic on educational practices and reviewing Brazilian legislation related to telecommuting. We highlight the perceived advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting in schools, emphasizing not only practical changes but also considering socio-economic and educational aspects.
