Ubuntu Esporte Clube, podcast by Estúdios Globo, appeared in July 2020, as a black media alternative, weekly gathering a team of sports journalists who interview personalities from different areas to comment on stories of athletes and subjects that involve the racial theme, one of central points of the project. The podcast has a considerable number of episodes that are essential in the fight against racism and in the understanding of historical contexts based on race, through other concepts that permeate this perspective and also in relation to the notion of representativeness. In order to list fundamental elements, five episodes were selected and analyzed as an object of study to arrive at possible answers regarding the importance of this initiative in the Brazilian communicational and sports scene. The methodology corresponds to qualitative thematic categorical content analysis, with emphasis on an intentional sample, as a way to systematize ideas and possible responses to listeners and readers.Podcast Ubuntu.
