Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação em Jornalismo) - Centro de Ciências Humanas Letras e Artes, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2021.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/35489This research presents an analysis of the speeches made by candidate Fátima Bezerra (PT) to the government of the state of Rio Grande do Norte in the social network Twitter during the campaign for the 2018 elections, in order to identify the use of the narrative of the politician as a hero and if this strategy was positive and well used in her political campaign. The methodological approach is anchored in the Case Study and we chose, as a method, to use the Discourse Analysis (AD) of French line, based on the ideological and historical-social context to which the discursives are presented, since there is an electoral strategy of persuasion. The period of analysis of the corpus was from August to October 2018, using as criteria for choice the use of concepts such as her origin story, profession, experience as a parliamentarian and issues linked to the female gender. Thus, it is concluded that the heroic feminine aspects were used in a subtle way by the candidate and her team, but that this did not necessarily have an influence on her electoral victory.ComunicaçãoPolíticaRedes sociaisTwitterHeróibachelorThesis
