Over the years, sex tourism began to be the object of study by researchers, to understand its origin, experience and seek to understand the motivations for it. Around the world, the practice of prostitution is allowed in many countries, but prohibited in others. In the present work, through netnography, semi-structured interviews and content analysis carried out from September 2021 to May 2022, the female experience in the sex market of Natal/RN is presented, in order to elucidate the relationship of cisgender women, transgender and transvestites with the world of tourism, both online and in person, and to understand the dynamics of social interaction of tourists on escort agencies during their stays in the destination “Natal – Cidade do Sol”. Among the results, it stands out how prostitution is socially stigmatized.
