The research adopts an exploratory qualitative methodology, using data triangulation. Data were collected from articles, social media, documents, video and photographic records, as well as interviews with actors from the Local Innovation Ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, mentors, project developers, and public managers. The results indicate that the implementation of the Local Innovation Ecosystem has a significantly positive impact on the region, as evidenced by the increase in the number of startups submitted to funding calls.
