Physiotherapy is of fundamental importance and can offer preventive and moderating effects on the course of PD, covering all symptomatological aspects. During and after the Coronavirus pandemic, Telerehabilitation (TR) began to be considered as a new method of providing care. Objective: To analyze the experience of a RT and face-to-face group Physiotherapy protocol for patients with PD, through a qualitative approach. Methods: Participants were randomized between the Experimental Group (n=1), which received group physical therapy treatment in a remote format, and a Control Group (n=3), which received the same treatment in an in-person format. The intervention protocol lasted 16 weeks, with sessions held once a week, lasting 1 hour each and having different focuses alternating during the weeks: global muscle strengthening (protocol A) or balance, gait and motor coordination training (protocol B ). The assessment was carried out 2 months after the end of the subjects, through a semi-structured interview. The reports were transcribed and evaluated according to Bardin's Content Analysis. Results and conclusions: The results revealed satisfactory experiences for both groups, causing positive repercussions in each person's life and supporting both RT and in-person group Physiotherapy as viable therapeutic options for people with PD. Considering the related improvements, we can suggest that contextual factors can enhance the participants' experience in rehabilitation, and that the choice between RT and in-person Physiotherapy must consider the patient's individual preferences and make the necessary adjustments to optimize the experience.Attribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Doença de ParkinsonFisioterapiaTelerreabilitaçãoExperiências acerca de um protocolo de telerreabilitação e de fisioterapia presencial para pessoas com doença de Parkinson: estudo qualitativoExperiences about a telerehabilitation protocol and in-person physiotherapy for people with Parkinson's disease: qualitative studybachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FISIOTERAPIA E TERAPIA OCUPACIONAL
