Through a qualitative, descriptive, and observational approach, the work carried out in the outpatient clinic of Maternidade Escola Januário Cicco was monitored. The professional operates as part of a multidisciplinary team, focusing on high-risk pregnant women, postpartum women, and those in climacteric. Physical exercise was used as a complementary therapeutic tool in treating chronic conditions such as gestational diabetes and hypertension. From direct observation and a semi-structured interview with the professional, the study revealed the importance of integrating Physical Education into the hospital environment, highlighting its contribution to improving clinical outcomes, promoting health, and encouraging lifestyle changes.
